D&D presents: fun and unique last minute gift ideas and warm and fuzzy discount codes.
Senteurs d'Orient
I'm a sucker for luxury soap and Senteurs d'Orient delivers ten fold.  With delicate, floral scents, they are the epitome of romantic opulence.  Crafted by artisans, all products are handmade and hand-wrapped.  I like to keep a bar tucked in my unmentionables drawer just like my mother used to you.  Whether nestled in your drawer, or cradled in your soap dish, these little darlings are the perfect holiday treat.  Use my code for free shipping + 50% off your purchase.  Code: SdOxObviously50

Daniel Wellington
If you want to go with a classic, I'm partial to Daniel Wellington timepieces.  DW is an eternal crowd pleaser, always timeless and forever elegant.  They are currently having a great bundle sale with a 10% discount; use my code for an additional 15% off.  Code: DOODLES

Seed Phytonutrients
Recently on a hair rehab pilgrimage, Seed Phytonutrients has been on of my favorite finds of the year.  Their products are made on a farm and smell like an enchanted forest of healthy delights.  Although they will not begin selling until the start of next year, you should take a peek and see what they have in store and even request some lovely samples.  Check out their IG page.

Made right here in my back yard, Naturaholic is an all natural beauty and skincare line based in Glendale, California.  I had the pleasure of interviewing the organic apothecary creator and her family for a magazine article I wrote and fell in love with her infectious energy, her beauty philosophy and her all natural products.  They are all made to order, made with love and delicately wrapped in artisanal packaging that's almost too perfect to open.  With $5 flat rate shipping, they are a steal.

Happy Socks
Personally, I love any product or service with the word "happy" in it, and Happy Socks is my favorite happy product of the year.  They have an unbelievably large inventory of delightful socks and undies to choose from.  Soft, cozy and perfect for cuffing season.  Use my code for a free tote bag with purchase.  Code: HappyTote

I'll be frank, I've never been into that whole subscription box service idea, but I reluctantly decided to give Rocksbox a try and kind of fell in love.  For me, being a minimalist is a way of life, and I have a very small collection of baubles I truly love and I prefer to keep it that way.  With Rocksbox, I've been able to try things on to see if they fit, both literally and figuratively and have been pleasantly surprised by how much I've loved the experience.  There's something about non-committal jewelry that really speaks to me.  They are having some great holiday promotions at the moment, and you can try a whole month for free by using my discount code.  Code: Doodlesanddressesxoxo

The Gift of the Written Word
My personal book recommendations for this holiday season are all quite wonderful, and a surefire way to brighten someone's holiday season.

Bar none, my all time favorite book is The Little Prince by French author Antoine de Saint-Exupery.  You can usually find a paperback copy for about $8, and I would honestly pay $80 for it.  The Prince serves as a gentle reminder not to take adulthood too seriously and teaches us the melancholy art of letting go.

Another great find of the year is Happy is the New Rich by one of my favorite Instagram Meme sensation Tank Sinatra aka George Resch.  He's a man on a mission to help people find happiness in the little things and I myself find it to be a splendid little book of tiny wisdoms.

An interesting gem of a book I recently discovered and am making my way through is You Are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life by Jen Sincero.  The title might be a bit campy and a bit corny, but it more than makes up for it with its practical, and whimsical approach to the art of manifesting.

And lastly, if you're feeling adventurous, there's the little coffee table book that yours truly wrote.  Doodles & Love is part of a series of cheeky little coffee table books full of doodles and short anecdotal stories.  Click here to view a short film.

That's all she wrote.  Happy holidays my lovelies!

With Love,
