well rehearsed speeches

We probably all know what works for us and what doesn't.  I've learned that just because something is in style, it doesn't mean that I can and should wear it.  Pulling of a backless dress, which makes me look seemingly naked from the waist up at certain angles, is certainly a risqué maneuver, but I've managed to make it work.

But what about those well rehearsed speeches?  Just because everyone is doing it should we all fall victim to the same cliché conversations?  The "so what do you do?" is always followed by the same stale, well rehearsed speech we've all grown to know so well we can recite it in our sleep, or worse, in our dreams.

What if our speech was a devoted proclamation of our passions and what we do when we’re not busy doing that thing that makes us money?  I think I'd be interested to hear what that would sound like.  Our passions, desires, thoughts and ideas of how to change the world are all living silently inside us.  What if that was how we all explained what we do?

So what do you do?

With Love,
A.A.
